About Me

Overcome obstacles in your life and reach your goals. BACP Accredited Counsellor and Psychotherapist. MSc Counselling Psychology. Experience: 23 years. In-person and online counselling for individual adults, including Schema Therapy and Compassion Focused Therapy.

I provide counselling and psychotherapy sessions in-person and via secure video meeting software.

About me
I am a professionally qualified and accredited counsellor and psychotherapist, providing therapy on a short-term and long-term basis, in an oasis of calm away from the hustle and bustle of modern life.

Sessions take place in a caring and professional environment, which is sufficiently challenging to effect change. Working together we can help you better understand yourself, overcome obstacles in your life, and reach your goals.

My expertise
I work with people on a wide range of issues. My expertise lies in the areas of social anxiety, low self-esteem and ADHD.

My approach to counselling/psychotherapy

My training in Counselling Psychology included all the major therapy approaches. All the methods I use are evidence-based. To this end, I incorporate tools to change the thoughts and behaviours that are keeping you stuck. I use Schema Therapy, which can help you change life-long self-defeating patterns. I draw on Compassion Focused Therapy, which can enable you to overcome self-criticism and shame. The way I work makes use of Positive Psychology and Solution-Focused Therapy. These approaches can help you to focus on your strengths and find solutions.

I offer a non-judgemental approach, without discrimination on such grounds as sex, race, religion, class, nationality, disability and sexual orientation.
