Rekha RAVIRAJ
Integrative counsellorAbout Me
I’m an Integrative Counsellor. I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, U.K. My counselling approach is mainly integrative, which means combining Person-centred Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic therapy, and other modalities. I work according to the client’s needs, and my approach is more solution-focused and client-centred.
I have experience working with clients with depression, trauma, anxiety, relationship problems, and other mental health issues. I have worked with clients who are victims of domestic violence and supported them to work on self-confidence, self-esteem, and self-worth. I have supported them in breaking through the circular pattern of thoughts which holds them back from believing in themselves and seeing positivity in life.
My approach is deeply collaborative. I work closely with each client, helping them understand their past, present, and how these factors influence their overall well-being. In a non-judgmental space, we identify areas of their lives they wish to change. Together, we develop a therapeutic plan, and I guide them on their journey to greater well-being.
