About me

Feeling anxious, low, or overwhelmed? You might be struggling with confidence, feeling stuck, or caught in painful patterns in your relationships. Whether you’re a young adult navigating study, work, identity, and friendships, or an adult managing responsibilities, loss, or change – it can all feel like too much on your own. You may ask yourself, “Who can I really talk to?” Friends and family might care, but sometimes they don’t fully understand, or you worry about burdening them. That can feel very lonely. As a counsellor with extensive experience in anxiety, depression, low mood, and relationship difficulties, I offer something different: a space where you are the focus, and where you don’t have to pretend you’re okay. Being truly seen and understood in that space, together, is often where the shift begins. I am an integrative counsellor, which means I draw on different approaches rather than following just one fixed method. I listen carefully to what you need and tailor the way I work to you as an individual. Sometimes that might be reflective and exploratory, sometimes more focused and practical – but always collaborative, and always at your pace. I also work with the emotional impact of challenges such as addictions, ADHD, eating difficulties, postnatal depression, and the demands that parenting can bring. While I do not offer specialist treatment programmes for these areas, together we can explore how they affect your everyday life – for example the stress, anxiety, shame, low mood, or relationship strain they may bring – and support you in finding ways to cope and feel more grounded. In our sessions, we sit alongside whatever you’re experiencing – not rushing to fix it or judge it, but gently exploring and making sense of it. We pay attention to your feelings, your story, and the patterns that keep repeating in your life and relationships. This process can help you: • Understand why you feel the way you do • Untangle anxiety, shame, or self-criticism • Improve your relationship with yourself and others • Find steadier ground and a clearer sense of direction I work with both young adults and adults, in a safe, calm, and confidential space. You don’t have to face your challenges alone – together, we explore, process, and support meaningful change.
