Paula Brown
Person-centred/humanistic psychotherapistAbout Me
I am a friendly approachable counsellor, I am here to support and you guide you through your current way of being.
I will support you to work through what's going on for you currently - providing you with coping techniques and strategies, if needed. As well as, providing you with a space to understand and recognise your needs.
I explain counselling in an everyday way, what you are currently experiencing maybe coming from a build-up of life events or you are not feeling like your normal self.
I may support you to break down and understand what's been going on for you by understanding what's getting in your way to progress and find a way forward.
I see counselling as an opportunity to explore your needs, recognise the whole of you - working with you holistically to explore your mental, emotional and physical health needs as well as your general wellbeing in all areas of life i.e. home, work and relationships.
I adapt my knowledge, skills and experience to your individual needs. The space is yours to express what you need in a safe and comfortable environment to work through and understand how to cope and adjust in your own unique way and time.
