I am a BABCP accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist and a BACP accredited Counsellor and Supervisor. My therapeutic work is bound by the Code of Ethics of both the BACP and the BABCP.
I have over 16 years experience as a therapist within the NHS and for a range of other organisations. I currently work with a range of issues including helping people to manage anxiety; lift their mood; recover from trauma and cope with any life event which is affecting their wellbeing. I can help with day to day issues such as poor sleep,disturbed concentration and agitation where stress is a key factor.
I have previously worked as an alcohol and drugs counsellor, in offender rehabilitation and in insomnia management
I appreciate that making the first step to contact a therapist is often extremely difficult, but I will work in a friendly and open manner with you to agree the most suitable course of therapy to help resolve the challenges you are facing.
I offer both short-term and longer term therapy to people from all walks of life, who face a wide range of difficulties.
