About Me

Choosing therapy reflects an act of great courage—a commitment to both self-care and self-discovery, laying the foundation for a brighter future.

While we cannot alter the past, control the present, or predict the future, therapy serves as a potent tool to empower you, enabling positive choices, understanding, and the freedom to explore your experiences .

I'm here to provide personalized therapy service dedicated to your personal growth and empowerment, whether through online sessions or face-to-face meetings in London.

In my practice, I offer a warm, open, safe, and professional environment, free from judgment, allowing you to share your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours openly. Utilizing an integrative therapeutic style, we will navigate your challenges at a pace comfortable for you, unravelling complexities and building self-awareness through reflection. Our therapeutic alliance is a collaborative partnership, acknowledging that you are the expert in your own life.

Our shared journey involves the development of a stronger sense of self, gaining fresh perspectives, and boosting confidence and self-trust. With my support, you can establish positive, lasting ways to feel content and fulfilled while effectively coping with your emotional challenges. I eagerly anticipate accompanying you on this path of self-discovery and growth.

I have a deep understanding and interest in cultural diversity, particularly the impact of social identity, culture, language, and power dynamics on psychological well-being and personal growth. As both an educator and therapist, I am hugely committed to exploring how cultural values shape our mental health experiences within Western society.

I work with both adults and children and young people.

Training and qualifications

With over two decades of committed work as an educator and therapist, I've had the privilege of collaborating with a diverse range of children, adolescents, and adults. My practice is integrative, anchored in a humanistic model, and I frequently integrate Art Psychotherapy. This distinctive modality taps into the potency of artmaking as a primary form of communication, establishing a secure and expressive space for self-awareness. Through this creative process, individuals can delve deeper into their emotions, thoughts, and experiences. Whether you're seeking short-term solutions or a more extended therapeutic journey, I am here to support you.

Beyond my private practice, my commitment to mental health extends to involvement with a psychosis charity and a women's support group, as well as working closely with senior adults. Currently, I serve as a School Project Manager for a national charity, providing crucial emotional support within educational settings.

Furthermore, my role as a foster carer adds another layer to my diverse experiences. I have also served as the coordinator of the British Association of Art Therapists' (BAAT) ARC, an Art Therapy race and culture group, in addition to working as a counselling tutor in adult education.
