Miranda Jackson
Existential psychotherapistAbout Me
In 2017 I moved to Wiltshire where I practise online. I have a mix of London-based clients and those from elsewhere in the UK.
I have approval from BUPA, WPA, CBT Clinics and AVIVA to work with insured clients. Special concessions are available to musicians referred by BAPAM.
I have a special interest in counselling musicians, having worked for about 35 years in the classical music business. But you don't have to be a performer to come and see me or to talk online. As a qualified online therapist I can offer you therapy from the comfort of your own room, even by Instant Messaging if the thought of talking to a stranger in person is too anxiety-provoking. I see individuals with every conceivable kind of problem. I want to make sure that the experience of working with me is a positive one, so that you leave feeling stronger and better able to face the world. I am not judgmental and I offer a safe, enfolding space where you can share your most difficult thoughts and feelings.
Every person is unique. I try to tailor the way I work to suit each individual, but always suffused with warmth and humour. I've had a lot of life experience in the real world, running a company, hiring and training people, travelling around Europe and doing charity work in the music sector. I use this experience to enhance my practice.
I have all the necessary qualifications and accreditations but what really matters is the quality of relationship between therapist and client.
