My Offer To You: Being heard, understood, believed in and supported. We all need this kind of support at some point in our lives. This is my offer to you.
How Our Session Might Feel: I would hope our session might feel warm, compassionate, non-judgemental with an empathetic relationship being felt between us. I believe that if we can achieve this in our sessions then you will have everything you need to live effectively with what you bring. Our work could, if you wanted it to, extend into mindfulness and spirituality as I have experience in this field along with meditation practices. I offer both shorter term therapy (6 sessions typically) and longer term therapy (I have clients who have been with me for years).
Experience: I have a particular interest in those who have a later in life adult ADHD diagnosis or suspect they have ADHD. I can help you with what a diagnosis means to you and improvements to functioning in every day life. I have experience working with most common mental health areas ( such as stress, anxiety, depression, loss, childhood, trauma, suicidal thoughts, relationships, sexuality, gender, race, ethnicity, anger).
Your choice on how we meet: Via Telephone, Video or Face To Face (Cheltenham or Gloucester)

I am a qualified and accredited counsellor (MNCS accred) registered through the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP reg) which means I am held on the Professional Standards Authority Accredited Register thus ensuring protection to the public and helping to ensure their health and wellbeing.
I have a lot of clients that span all the methods of therapeutic delivery. If you prefer the convenience and discretion of telephone or video then you can be assured that I am competent to do so as I am a member of ACTO (Association for Counselling and Therapy Online) thus meeting their standards, qualification requirements and experience to be a member. If you would prefer face to face then I have two therapy rooms: one in Gloucester central and the other in Cheltenham central.
My Experience:
I have worked in a large corporate employee assistance programme (welfare service) offering counselling. During this time I worked with a range of mental health issues from stress, anxiety, depression, relationships through to self harm, suicide ideation, gender, autism, ADD/ADHD, dyslexia and more. I have a particular interest, and experience working with, clients who have later in life diagnosis (or suspect they might have) ADD/ADHD. I volunteer with a local charity where I give my therapy services free of charge to those who can not afford access to private therapy. My private practise is located in Cheltenham and Gloucester but I offer telephone and video therapy to anyone over 18yrs old in the UK. I am also a qualified and accredited Executive Coach who can help you be your best self. Packages are available upon request.
