Marta Kudrnova
Gestalt psychotherapistAbout Me
Hello, and a warm welcome. I am Marta, a fully qualified and UKCP registered psychotherapist.
Majority of people I work with come to improve their lives by addressing issues such as low mood, anxiety, anger, loss, shame, self-criticism, relationship problems, low confidence, and trauma-related difficulties. I work online and in-person, offering both open-ended and short-term sessions.
My special interest is in post-traumatic growth, developing confidence, and finding a new meaning after loss (e.g. retirement, redundancy, divorce, infertility, bereavement, voluntary and involuntary relocation, etc.).
I appreciate the variety of human experience and believe that we are all moving on a spectrum between robust mental health and distress, depending on what stress is placed on us. My aim is to understand you and your situation, before finding ways how to help you move through what feels difficult or stuck.
Starting therapy is not only an important decision, but also an opportunity to explore, understand and resolve your concerns in a safe and supportive relationship. If you would like to learn more or to discuss your needs and hopes, please contact me using the contact form on this website or my details below:
