About Me

Thank you for looking at my page and a warm welcome to you. Do you want someone to talk to who listens? Do you feel life is challenging or are you feeling anxious, sad, stressed, angry or maybe you feel like you're not coping with life and not sure why.  I am a person-centred counsellor who will provide you with a safe space where we can explore your thoughts, feelings, concerns and any anxieties together at your own pace.

As well as having experience working with a range of issues I also specialise in loss, grief and bereavement. Whether it was last week or ten years ago it can be helpful and healing to talk to someone that can help you make sense of your feelings. This can be due to a loss of anything including loss of a loved one, a pet, a job, friendship, relationship, home or physical health or the loss of life as you knew it before Covid hit.

It is so important to find the right counsellor so I offer a free initial 15 minute session to establish whether I am the right counsellor for you. I offer face to face counselling in Barkingside and Harold Wood also Zoom and telephone counselling. Life can be busy so I can fit in with you with sessions in the evenings or weekends as well as in the daytime.  I look forward to hearing from you.

Fees

Sessions are £60 each and last for 50 minutes. I offer an initial 15 minute assessment session which will be on the telephone.

At this initial session we can meet and see how we might work together, while I take some information from you about what has brought you to counselling.

We can use this session to see how you feel about working with me and to get an idea of what you want to come to counselling for.  For the first session, payment is requested in advance to secure the first appointment.
