Libby Morgan
Existential psychotherapistAbout Me
Hello, I'm Libby. I am a highly trained counsellor and psychotherapist.
My job is to listen to you with compassion, openness and curiosity and to help you come to a better understanding of yourself and your situation. I offer a supportive, confidential space for you to make sense of your life, reflect on your feelings and patterns of behaviour and practice ways of being that may feel unfamiliar to you.
I do not offer fixed ideas; I want to give you the space to be exactly who you are and to respect the particularity of your situation. Together we may make connections with your past: how it has shaped and influenced who and how you are today. I am particularly interested in early relational patterns and how they reveal themselves in our adult lives or even within the therapeutic relationship.
I may invite you to slow down and focus on your moment-to-moment embodied responses in order to foster a deep and vital connection with your lived experience. To take you out of your head and into your body's wisdom.
Sharing your story, thoughts and feelings, and allowing yourself to be truly seen by a trained professional, fosters healing, growth, self compassion and self-understanding. It helps you to become more responsive and less reactive. It's a powerful process, a journey that cannot help but change us both, and it is my privilege to be alongside you.
