I have an extensive career in the helping professions and pride myself on taking a holistic approach to my work.  Each couple or family is unique  and I like to draw on different therapeutic approaches, which may suit my clients. I believe that a good therapeutic relationship is central to the success of any therapy and this begins from a position of openness and transparency. Therapy is a collaborative approach and my role in therapy is to facilitate conversations with individuals, couples and families which help them find resolutions to the difficulties they bring to therapy.

I am qualified as a family and systemic psychotherapist and my professional background  is in communication - specifically speech and language therapy. This has been predominantly specialising in working with people with acquired brain injury and their families. I continue to work both in the neurorehabilitation in the NHS and privately.
