Laura Johnson
Integrative counsellorAbout Me
Hello and Welcome!
Having experienced anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, work related stress, family difficulties, loss, loneliness, shame, abuse and grief myself, I know and understand how overwhelming these things can feel. I know how they can affect your life. I also know and understand how daunting it can feel seeking support through counselling. You may have many questions right now; you may not be sure if counselling is for you or if you did have counselling, what you would say or how does it work. I still remember the anxiety I felt when I first reached out and asked for support.
Whatever your reason is for seeking support, as a friendly and approachable person, I aim to provide you with a non-judgemental, empathetic and supportive space to fully explore your situation and to help you understand your thoughts and feelings so that together we can work through any difficulties you are experiencing.
As a warm and friendly person, I aim to provide you with non-judgmental, empathetic and supportive space where you can truly feel heard and talk about the issues you wish to explore in counselling.

I offer both short term and long term therapy, adapting to suit your needs. Standard sessions last 50 minutes and are offered on an open ended basis. Sessions are charged at £50 per session for individuals.
I believe counselling should be available to everyone regardless of your personal circumstances, so I hold a number of concessionary spaces for clients with low income, OAPs, Students, Trainee Counsellors and those who find themselves unemployed. The concessionary fees are £35 per session
