About me

Life is filled with trials and tribulations that can leave us feeling overwhelmed and unable to see the potential for growth. Research and experience tell us that having a safe, accepting and curious space to explore how the events of our lives shape how we live our lives can aid understanding, self-acceptance and growth. As an integrative counsellor with many years of community engagement and family support work behind me I draw inspiration from many sources to ensure support that is tailored to the needs of each individual client. I believe that we all have the capacity to find the answers and solutions to the aspects of our life we want to change. In engaging with ideas and strategies from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy and Existential Therapy and Philosophy and by creating an environment of acceptance I will work collaboratively with you to uncover and explore your therapeutic priorities. As a counsellor I endeavour to facilitate a safe, supportive yet challenging space where we can collaboratively gain insight and understanding around whatever presents as a priority for you.
