Integrative psychotherapistAbout Me
What would it be like to be supported in recovering from difficult past experiences? What if you could develop healthy boundaries and improve your relationships? What would it be like to lessen the overwhelm, or quiet the part of you that feels panicked or anxious?
Hello, my name is Kerry.
From my private practice in Bourne End, Bucks, I work with adults struggling with different aspects of their lives. I offer a calm and confidential space where you can feel safe, supported and understood – even when your life is at its most difficult.
With over 10 years of professional expertise, my aim as a therapist is for us to explore and make sense of what lies behind your current difficulties to open up the possibilities for change. Whether you have a specific problem such as relationship difficulties, loss, a personal trauma, a big decision to make or are feeling sad and don’t really know why, my holistic and integrative approach to therapy can help.
Please look at my website to get more information about me and my practice: https://www.psychotherapywithkerrywilliams.co.uk/
One of the most important things when looking for a therapist is to find someone you feel comfortable with, can relate to, and feel supported by. I understand it can be hard to share difficult, painful, or embarrassing things – and I also want to acknowledge the anxiety that can arise when deciding to ask for support. Whatever your reasons are for seeking out help, please know they are valid. While it often feels nerve-wracking to take the first step, by doing so, know that you are already initiating change. Together, we can explore the issues that are troubling you and find a better way forward.
What to do next
If you’d like to enquire further, please get in touch to request your free 15-minute Introductory call. You can then see how comfortable you feel with me. I do prefer to talk to you directly before arranging your first 50-minute appointment (also known as a ‘Consultation’) as this can give you a sense of me before we meet.
To contact me, you can email me, give me a call, or send me your enquiry using the ‘Contact Me’ page on my website. If you ring me and I’m not available, do leave me a voicemail so that I can get back to you.

Experience
I’ve been working as a therapist for over a decade now. I use a type of therapy called Integrative Psychotherapy, which means I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches, (both evidence-based and holistic) so I can adapt how I work to meet your unique needs.
During my early clinical career, I worked for several years at a counselling agency in Chesham, Bucks, as part of their Psychotherapy Team. In 2016, I founded my Private Practice. For a further four years, I provided in-person counselling and psychotherapy to adults throughout the Chilterns region. In March 2020, I evolved my practice into a full online psychotherapy business, enabling me to extend my geographical reach throughout the UK.
Training
I am trained in a wide range of psychological issues. I support individuals experiencing challenges that typically include: anxiety, low mood, relationship issues and family difficulties, stress/burn-out, self-criticism, traumatic experiences, life transitions and difficulties adjusting to living with a physical health condition (including ME/CFS and Long Covid). I am always happy to discuss any difficulties you may be experiencing to see if I can help.
