About Me

I am licensed in the UK with 3 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, trauma and abuse, motivation, self esteem, and confidence, & depression. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support & empower you in that journey. I offer therapeutic counselling for a wide range of issues and a diverse range of individuals. Counselling is a individual journey and an opportunity to work with me in collaborative way and my aim is to work with you so that you get the most out of your sessions. Therapy isn't about me giving advice and I won't tell you what to do. Instead, I offer you an opportunity to explore your thoughts and feelings in depth in a non-judgmental way. My focus and hope for you is that you are able to develop more insight, understanding to your situation and be able to gain compassion for yourself. At my private office in the centre of Bedford, I provide a space for you to grow as a person and reach your full potential.  I am a qualified therapeutic counsellor with a lot of experience working with individuals.  I now work in my own private practice and help clients with a range of different issues. This has allowed me to build up a level of expertise and develop a range of different techniques and coping strategies which my clients tell me have been effective. I provide integrative counselling for a wide range of issues, including (but not limited to): anxiety, stress, low ,mood, domestic abuse, bereavement, fears, and whatever else you may wish to talk about. I feel that it is important within my counselling encounters with clients to be able to work within an awareness of difference and diversity so that I am able to understand the client's own frame of reference, their own patterns of relating and where I can focus on the here and now with the client. For more information about me and KM Counselling Centre, As a person, I feel that I am approachable, warm and insightful. I really love and have a passion for my counselling work and I feel that I am able to make good connections with all my clients in order to develop effective therapeutic relationships. I feel my person-centered approach to counselling offers support and encouragement to a wide range of clients so that they are able to make the right decisions for themselves.
