Integrative psychotherapistAbout Me
Whether you are really struggling with life or have an underlying feeling that you could be more connected with yourself and those around you, therapy can create the space you need to move forward.
I am a BACP and UKCP registered integrative psychotherapist. I am also an Internal Family Systems therapist and use this approach with most of my clients. I work with a wide range of issues including anxiety, low self-esteem, issues from childhood, challenges with relationships, bereavement and depression. I offer a warm, empathic, open and non-judgemental space for you to explore the issues that have prompted you to seek counselling.
As an integrative psychotherapist, I draw on different approaches depending upon what best supports clients. These include humanistic, relational, cognitive behavioural and psychodynamic approaches. Increasingly clients are discovering the deep effectiveness of the Internal Family Systems (IFS) approach.
My work:
One of the most important experiences I have had in my life was a confidential counselling relationship in which I felt safe and supported to explore the issues that were of most concern to me. It is this that I seek to provide clients, whether their reasons for coming to therapy are to change ways of coping in life that no longer work, to improve relationships, feel more in touch with themselves, or any of dozens of other reasons that might prompt someone to seek support.
