Juby Khaki
PsychotherapistAbout Me
Hello my name is Juby. Nice to meet you. I am open to seeing both young and older new clients from diverse cultures. Prior to commencing our sessions, we would have a 20 minute chat to discuss what you would like to work on in your counselling sessions. Please feel welcome to contact me.
As an integrative therapist, I draw upon different therapeutic models especially congnitive behaviour therapy when working with a client and to suit their individual needs. Over time, this would mean that we could use the session time together to explore the relationship issues present as well as past, historical experiences, boundary issues and belief systems that may impact upon their life, work and relationships.
I have a Master in Counselling and Psychotherapy, a Post-Graduate Diploma in Counselling and an Advanced Certificate in CBT from the Centre for Stress Management. I also have a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and Supervision experience.
I have trained in Person Centred and Existential Counselling. I have received additional specialist training in Bereavement & Loss, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness. I enjoy continually attending training and workshops for my professional development expanding on my training and development.
My training and experience as a mediator has enabled me to understand family dynamics resulting in successful outcomes. I provide short-term and long term counselling for clients in a safe and confidential environment.
