Integrative psychotherapistAbout Me
I see individuals who feel stuck for a whole variety of reasons. Maybe you are stuck in a particular time, place or experience from a past trauma; maybe you are struggling to move forward in your life; or maybe you are stuck in unhealthy behavioural patterns. Whatever brings you to therapy, my specialty is a deep exploration of all the factors that are holding you back.
To do this, I develop long-term supportive relationships with my clients and work in an open-ended way, rather than exclusively trying to “fix” the immediate problem. I use my strong expertise in psychotherapeutic theory, alongside a caring and patient approach, to help people address their challenges at a level they can’t reach on their own.
I pride myself on my ability to help people feel at ease, even when discussing distressing feelings or experiences. I am skilled in creating a safe and nurturing environment for those who are unsure or nervous about therapy. My work is always led by the client’s needs, and my “integrative” style of psychotherapy means that I get a full understanding of the person, and adapt my methods to suit the individual.
