Integrative therapistAbout Me
If you're reading this, you may be experiencing a state involving discomfort, pain, a lack of clarity and uncertainty. Many factors can trigger this state - bereavement and other losses, relationship difficulties, fears and anxieties, anger or depression.
Strong feelings tend to feel overwhelming and can be difficult to manage. Moreover, external pressures and stigmas around mental and emotional health mean that we try and avoid intense feelings, suppressing and denying them, medicating them, anything rather than actually feel them.
Paradoxically, that only increases suffering and leaves the parts of you that are in need of care and healing unprocessed.
Therapy offers a safe space to be able to let go of your defenses and coping mechanisms and to courageously explore the intense feelings within - fear, sadness, disgust, anger.
It provides an invitation to develop a new relationship with our internal world, to find resources of courage and resilience, calm and hope.
It gives you the opportunity to meet yourself where you are, to heal, and to have clarity about yourself and your life. This becomes a North Star to guide you on your journey.
It enables you to be fully present in your life, to be authentic and connect authentically.
What I bring to this noble encounter is my journey, my experience, and my knowledge of the territory gleaned through years of spiritual practice, mindfulness, therapeutic training and CPD (continuing personal development). Most importantly, I bring myself, my presence, in service of helping you find yours
Wherever you are, I wish you well on your journey and am honoured to be a part of that should that be right for you.
