About Me

Hello, thank you for taking the time to read my profile.

My name is Jo, I am a Qualified MBACP Therapist and Child Psychotherapist based in the Warrington area. I work with Adults, Children and Young people and Couples.

I practice as an Integrative Therapist using skills and techniques from various theories, to support and walk alongside clients to enhance their therapeutic journey.

Every client is unique. Therefore, it is the highest importance to myself that every client has a positive experience. Therapeutic relationships are nurtured during sessions to ensure every individual feels comfortable and at ease.

I understand that Counselling and the ongoing journey can take courage and at times take you through some painful experiences and memories. However, for most people it proves to be a powerful and empowering step towards personal growth and healing were you are always listened too.

I understand life can at times be a struggle for yourself, child or young person. Therefore, I offer a calm, safe and non-judgmental environment enabling people to reflect, discuss and explore feelings and emotions in a confidential manner.

I offer a variety of techniques to suit every individual in telling their story with suitable interventions and strategies to suit every clients needs.

I take part in regular training, CPD and workshops to enhance my practice. I feel that growth is paramount to ensure professional standards are always met within the Counselling room.

I have gained many skills and experiences within my job role as a Therapist and have been complimented for my openness, kindness and empathic manner, and feel these are the tools needed to build a strong Therapeutic relationship.

Practice description

I offer Professionalism and commitment to all clients, along with being attentive and punctual to every session.

Confidentiality and Trust is KEY in every session and I consider my role as your Therapist a 'Privilege' in you letting me part of your journey.

I am transparent with clients at all times and feel this contributes to building relationships. I never offer advice or make decisions for you. Instead, I will support you in developing your own thoughts and solutions whilst accepting you as you are.

I communicate the importance and values of core conditions within my practice

*Unconditional Positive Regard

*Congruence

*Integrity
