Jo Briggs
Integrative psychotherapistAbout Me
Hello, I am a very experienced and solution-focused counsellor who my clients describe as "exceptionally easy to talk to, highly professional, non-judgmental and caring". I have helped many young and old adults overcome anxiety, sadness or depression, low self-esteem, grief, anger, trauma, life direction or relationship problems. I see most of my clients online or face-to-face at my private counselling room in north west London.

Training and qualifications
I am a fully qualified member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) with a Diploma in Integrative Therapeutic Counselling, for which I studied for 4 years. I also hold a BA(Hons) degree and have many years of experience as a professional communicator.
My training includes all the main Psychodynamic and Person-Centred/Humanistic theories and CBT. I also incorporate a lot of psycho-education and creative thinking in my practice, to help my clients truly understand and help themselves going forward.
I have worked with clients of all ages and backgrounds and love meeting and building relationships with new clients. I am told that I am incredibly easy to talk to, and exceptionally non-judgmental and warm. I am also very solution-focused. We will together work through whatever is bothering you to find a way forward that works for you. If you are struggling with something that is outside my experience I would be happy to make a referral for you.
