Jo BIRD
Person-centred/humanistic psychotherapistAbout Me
I think there are times when problems in our lives can be so overwhelming we can no longer see a clear pathway through. We can be left holding pain, guilt and shame that can stop us from experiencing life as we would choose; we can lose the joy and wonder of living when we can only focus on the struggles we have just trying to be who we are, and this can lead to stress, anxiety and depression.
I will listen and be beside you as together we explore your world and look at the challenges you are facing. People often find that with awareness they can see how to change things that will improve their life and just being able to share your story can lift a huge weight that’s been carried a long time.
I believe that every life is valuable and the therapy I offer works with the uniqueness of the individual without blame or judgement.
