Integrative counsellorAbout Me
I am a friendly , approachable counsellor with over 18 years experience as a therapist gained in the NHS , the voluntary sector and in private practice. I am an integrative therapist which means I have good knowledge of many different types of therapy and I use these depending on the issues you bring and what works for you .
I have worked with individuals and groups and have considerable experience of working with clients with mental health , addiction issues and survivors of sexual , emotional and physical abuse. Some of the issues I have worked with are anxiety, depression, bipolar, alcohol and drug addiction, co- dependency, employment issues, and relationship issues.
I understand that having made the decision to try counselling, choosing who to see can be a confusing and daunting task. Do give me a call or e mail me and we can arrange an assessment where we can discuss what you hope to gain from counselling and you can find out more about how we would work together. An assessment does not mean there is any obligation to commit to further sessions.
