About Me

Welcome! I’m Dr Ibrahim Ndabavunye and want you to know that you’re not alone. I am a Clinical Psychologist accredited by the British Psychological Society (Associate Fellow) and a Practitioner Psychologist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

Within my 16 years of experience, I have helped thousands of people to recover from stress, anxiety, burn out, low mood, depression, work related stress, panic attacks, phobias, trauma, post-traumatic stress disorders, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, adjustment difficulties, coping with transition and life change, bereavement, chronic health issues.

I have a wealth of experience in working in public (NHS) and private practices both in the UK and overseas. Since 2021, I run my own online psychology practice where I help individuals to find inner peace in themselves, relationships, and gain insight in order to build more resilience than surviving from their past traumatic emotional physical experiences. What make me different as a therapist is that I look not only at what is going on the mind, but also I pay attention to the body as it keeps the score.

I will help you from a range of approaches including Behavioural Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Advanced Trauma Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Compassion Focused Approach, Psycho-dynamic Therapy, and the third waves of CBT such as relaxation, breathing, meditation, mindfulness techniques. Thus, I choose the most suitable therapy approach to best suit the person I am working with.

Whatever difficulties you may have, my goal is to offer you a safe and supportive space to talk openly with your therapist without fear of judgement and criticism.

My mission is to help you understand that all these difficulties you may experience can be linked to your early life experiences or difficulties life events which can have a huge impact on how you feel about yourself, your relationships with others and overall wellbeing

Whatever you’re experiencing, my goal is to provide you with a safe and supportive space to talk openly with your therapist without fear of judgement and criticism. I specialise in working with individuals to help them find inner peace in themselves, relationships, and gain insight in order to build more resilience than surviving from their past traumatic emotional experiences.
