Welcome, my name is Helen.
I am a qualified counsellor and coach, specialising in helping clients with stress and anxiety, sleeping disorders, motivation, self-esteem, and confidence, & career difficulties.
I understand the enormous amount of courage it takes to reach out for help.
My role is to support you in your journey. I provide a safe environment where you will feel at ease as you share your thoughts and feelings.
In the first session, we can discuss your current concerns, expectations and establish your goals for therapy.
Each session is a time for you to talk things through without the fear of judgment. We can explore coping strategies and techniques to improve your mood. You can develop the tools to manage anxiety as well as develop self-awareness and grow in confidence.
The discussion is always led by you, I will work alongside you to support you to achieve your individual goals. The sessions can be an opportunity for you to gain a different perspective about yourself and/or your problems.
Sessions last for 50 minutes. You can choose to book a set number of sessions to work through a particular issue, or perhaps you are interested in longer-term therapy. I provide weekly, fortnightly or monthly face-to-face online or via telephone making sessions convenient to fit your schedule.
I offer a free 15-minute video or phone consultation. This is a chance to talk about what brings you to therapy and what you are looking for, to help you decide if you want to start counselling.

I am registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapist (BACP) with a counselling and coaching first-class degree.
I have extensive experience of working for the NHS IAPT service and providing short- or long-term therapy.
