Hannah Richardson
Integrative counsellorAbout Me
I am a warm and enthusiastic humanistic counsellor, working both privately and for the NHS. This means I believe every person has a natural capacity to grow and change within a supportive, non-judging and honest therapy relationship.
If you come to see me, I will give you a safe and confidential space to unburden your worries.
I will be super-attentive and attune to your feelings, thoughts and concerns.
I will help you untangle whatever troubles you, whether it is something that is happening now or something that happened in the past. Together we will find ways to alleviate your distress.
Whether it is a mental health issue such as anxiety, depression or stress, or perhaps a relational problem in the home or at work, we will unravel the patterns and core beliefs that hamper you from being the way you wish to be.
No problem is too big or too small.
I have a creative and sometimes playful approach which I tailor to each individual. I draw from several therapeutic schools including Gestalt, person-centred and Transactional Analysis.
I also have a deep understanding of attachment issues and how our early relationships impact our ways of being in the world.
If you like the sound of my approach, please do contact me for an initial session.
If we work together, we will do so safely and at your pace and, as things improve, we may even have some fun along the way.
I will email you back if you get in touch - please check your greedy little junk folders. Thanks
