Many of us find life challenging at times. Sometimes our thoughts, feelings or reactions can cause us distress. We may find ourselves repeating patterns, unable to understand why we feel or behave like we do. Counselling offers a safe space for people to explore the things that they find difficult, allowing room for greater clarity within a non-judgmental environment. Being curious about these parts of ourselves can give us a greater awareness of why we feel and behave as we do, allowing them to become easier to deal with.
I am a qualified counsellor with experience of a broad range of ages and challenges, from depression and anxiety to family or work related issues. I hold a Diploma in Integrative Counselling from the NHS based psychotherapy institute, Inter-Psyche.
If you would like to look into counselling, we can first arrange a 20 minute consultation via Skype (online video call). We can explore what has brought you to counselling and give you the space and time to decide whether you want to begin regular sessions. There is no commitment to start counselling after the initial consultation - that's up to you.
