Grania FitzGerald
Gestalt psychotherapistAbout Me
I offer a non-judgemental, confidential and safe space where you can explore, with me alongside, what it means to be you, right now, in the life that you have. If you are feeling stuck – unsure, overwhelmed or confused about the choices you have made and your life, therapy can help. Give yourself space, to breathe, slow down and explore what patterns might be in operation out of awareness.
You don't have to wrestle alone.
I practice Gestalt Psychotherapy which has a core belief that we carry within us the potential to shape our lives and live authentically, given the right conditions and context. Sometimes painful experiences from the past can get in the way of fully responding to what happens in the present.
Working together we will explore how you make sense of the world you are in, make choices that serve you well and let go of what might be keeping you stuck and holding you back. Gestalt is a relational psychotherapy, which means that we sit and talk about what you bring, trusting that what shows up or comes to mind will be relevant. Gestalt psychotherapy can shed light on patterns in relationships, being focused on process (how you make sense of things) rather than exclusively on content.
