I have now been practicing as a counsellor and psychotherapist for over 12 years building upon an early career of over 30 years as a teacher.

I consider myself to be an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist The counselling relationship provides a powerful opportunity to take stock and become more aware of ourselves. To make this work I set up and sustain a calm supportive space for therapy to take place. I have a room in the centre of Bedford in an old building full of character and serenity which is calm and welcoming. 

My core training and practice based in psychodynamic or talking therapy I now integrate with energy psychology, acknowledging how emotions and feelings are held in the body. My work therefore is characterised by how the mind influences how we feel in our body and how working with the energy of the body in.fluences the thoughts in our mind. I also use crystal singing bowls to support and enhance this work
