Integrative counsellorAbout Me
I am a pluralistic counsellor/psychotherapist. What that means is I use a range of skills and theories to help you understand exactly what it is that's going on for you.
I have two decades of experience in the therapeutic industry and in that time, I have honed my skills in listening, empathising and adapting my sessions for the client who is in front of me.
What I love most about the role I play is giving people insights and normalising how they feel, We are a sum of our individual experiences and no experience is the same for any two people. Clients often say they feel a weight has been lifted and it is good to come and talk freely with no repercussions and no judgement.
Coming to counselling is a way of looking at what is going on, what is happening or has happened without the opinion of friends, relatives, or partners skewing your view, placating you or invalidating your feelings. It's the place to come and look at the most painful aspects of your life and acknowledge it happened and how that was for you.
I have a particular passion for helping people with grief, female reproductive issues, infertility and menopause as well as having extra training with domestic violence awareness but I am mostly interested in being able to be the person you can trust to come and open up to and unload that weight you have been carrying, whatever that may be.
