About Me

Every client is unique, so I approach psychotherapy as a deeply personal journey. Together, we will find a rhythm that feels comfortable for you, ensuring that the pace of our work aligns with your individual needs. I emphasise creating a warm, trusting environment where you can feel safe exploring and growing. My goal is to support you in your journey toward change and self-discovery every step of the way.

My practice is firmly grounded in Bowlby’s attachment theory, which emphasises the importance of understanding intimacy, attachment, and relationships. By integrating these insights with aspects of psychoanalysis, we can subtly unveil unconscious processes, providing you with a richer comprehension. I prioritise fostering an open, trusting therapeutic relationship that supports growth and change when needed.

Training and qualifications

After completing my psychology degree at Trinity College, Dublin, I continued my education and earned a Master's in Clinical Psychology at Goldsmiths, University of London. I then gained valuable experience managing the Inspired Personality Disorder Service, where I provided dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT) to a wide range of individuals. Following this, I completed four years of training in attachment-based psychoanalytic psychotherapy at the Bowlby Centre in London. I am a proud graduate member of the British Psychological Society (GMBPsS) working towards UKCP registration. I am dedicated to ongoing professional development. I have diverse experience supporting clients in private practice, the NHS, and the voluntary sector, which has allowed me to adapt effectively to different environments and clients.
