Colin Berry
Psychoanalytic therapistAbout Me
In April 2020, I meet with people remotely, either by phone or Zoom.
Once the restrictions start to ease, I expect to resume meeting in person, at the address of my consulting room in Highams Park.
During the lockdown, you are welcome to contact me. We can arrange initial meetings remotely.
Some of the reasons for seeking extra support at this time might include if:
You are having difficulty adapting to lockdown restrictions
Or
You are dwelling on the past and feeling strong emotions
Or
You want to get the most from this time and you recognize that talking to someone will support you to maintain your motivation to stay focused and on track.
For several years now, I have been concerned about the impact of austerity. In my experience, there are many people who live in survival mode and I have sought to engage in therapy that is both relevant and meaningful to life in survival mode. In my forensic place of work, I have collaborated with residents in the development of Surviving Prisons programmes but many of the insights from these programmes have relevance more generally. Certainly, if you are someone who struggles to get by day to day, you are welcome to get in touch to see if you might benefit from meeting with me.
More generally, I have over 20 years’ experience as a therapist and I am very committed to making therapy personal, relevant and meaningful to you in your circumstances.
