CounsellorAbout Me
Since I retired in 2009 I have used my time to pursue the things which are important to me and hopefully continue to offer support to others. I saw my retirement as an opportunity to re-evaluate my life and develop new talents and skills. I feel very strongly that we all have the ability to reinvent ourselves and we owe it to ourselves to take that opportunity.
The building on my already considerable personal and professional experience of vocational, supervisory, advisory and socio - political issues I decided to retrain as a personal therapist. This has undoubtedly been a seminal experience in my life so far then, in terms of personal development and understanding my processing and that of others it has been an experience without parallel.
The personal awareness which derived from this extensive training has provided me with a deep understanding of who and what I am. It has helped me to understand what is really important to me and see beyond many of the more ephemeral things we have to deal with in our daily existence and I strongly believe that personal therapy can undoubtedly help people understand and help them devise new strategies to deal with the issues which face them throughout their lives.
