About Me

My name is Chai-Yoel Korn. I identify as non-binary, and my gender pronouns are they/them.

I describe myself as a psychotherapist, clinical supervisor, passionate expert speaker, trainer, author; LGBTQIA+ and HIV activist and ally; politically left-thinking; a 3rd generation Holocaust survivor; a secular Jew; genderqueer, and queer-thinking.

I am a Relational Body and Trauma Psychotherapist and Clinical Supervisor, with over a decade of experience offering psychotherapy services to individuals, couples and groups aged 16+. My specialisms include body psychotherapy; disability and neurodiversity; gender, sexuality and relationship diversity (GSRD); trauma therapy; and youth counselling. I offer both short-term and long-term psychotherapy where your well-being is my priority. I am an accredited member of the National Counselling Society.

My private practice is based in north and central London, and via Zoom in English. I feel the one positive thing that has come out of the Covid-19 pandemic has been that through mediums like Zoom we have made access to psychotherapy easier and more secure. As an intercultural psychotherapist I am excited to work with other cultures across the globe.

Initial query and meeting

I aim to respond to initial queries within 48 hours, and will offer you a free 30-minute telephone or Zoom introduction meeting as I believe that relationships are key to building successful outcomes.

If you would like to book an initial session with me I offer this at a flat fee of £55. Within the session you will explore if this is the right time for you to start therapy, and if I am the right therapist for you. You can find more information on my Initial Meeting page.
