About Me

Are you experiencing challenges in your life? Do you need a listening ear, someone to talk to outside your immediate circle of family and friends? Some areas where counselling may be helpful are low mood, anxiety, grief, relationship problems, lack of confidence, ageing, menopause, children leaving home, coping with illness, depression, anger and general feelings of being unable to cope with day-to-day demands.

I'm Carla Boulton, a therapeutic counsellor based in Shrewsbury, Shropshire, my role is to be alongside you, hearing what you have to say and offering gentle understanding - helping you to make sense of your feelings. If you would like to see me for counselling, you may book an appointment by calling or texting me directly 07724 157617

I listen with complete confidentiality, I am here for you and will not judge you – my aim is to help you to find your own solutions.

I help people get to the heart of what’s really bothering them. In my own life, I’ve been through good times, bad times and the best of times – the best are, in my mind, the times when life gently moves along without anyone noticing.

Sessions with me cost £45, in our first session we will take personal details and look at the outline of what is going on and what you would like to work on. The time in each 50 minute session is yours to voice whatever is needed without judgment.

How often to attend is always your choice and it is 100% your choice whether we continue to work together after our first meeting and how many sessions you would like after that should you choose to continue.

I offer concessions for students.

Having spent 30 years as a designer I have found my counselling skills are invaluable to those creatives who are finding life challenging, we can work together to free-up both your emotional and creative processes.

I hold an enhanced DBS (previously Criminal Records Bureau) certificate and have professional insurance.
