My name is Anna Sagredou. I am an associate Fellow in Counselling Psychology and an accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist. I have longstanding experience as a psychologist and I have worked for the NHS, as well as for charities and in private practice for many years. I have been employed in several countries, including the UK, Greece, Cyprus and Thailand, and hence, I have worked with people from various cultural backgrounds. I have worked with a variety of issues but my main focus is working with anxiety.
MY APPROACH
I have experience on a range of difficulties, including obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), general anxiety and worries, health anxiety, phobias, social anxiety, performance anxiety, relationship difficulties and life transitions. As part of my approach, I employ a variety of techniques, namely cognitive behavioural psychotherapy, mindfulness and compassion focused therapy, psychodynamic and person-centred theory.
My work follows the guidelines of the National Institute of Clinical Excellence to provide effective treatment interventions.
