I am an experienced BACP accredited counsellor/therapist and I have been working with people from a very wide diverse backgrounds and different ages both in organisations such as an NHS GP practice, University counselling services and for the past five years in private practice .

I undertake both short and long term work and my approach is to treat everyone I meet as an individual who can expect an empathic, caring relationship which puts you and your difficulties as the focus of every session with the aim of alleviating the loneliness of carrying problems alone and helping you to address things and make changes if you wish to.

The sole aim is to help people to feel better and sometimes to accept certain things which cannot be changed but over time having a space to explore life's problems with an objective, experienced therapist can be the most healing way to move forward-it isn’t always an easy journey looking at things in an honest way in order to learn and grow but it is one , we all need to do ,to have our ‘best’ life and my role is to help you to try to achieve that.
