Cognitive behaviour therapy psychotherapistAbout Me
Hello,
I understand this is the most important and worrying time for you searching for the right therapist. I hope a little bit about me and how I work will help you decide if I am right for you. I am a warm, open and friendly person that's easy to talk to. I listen with all my heart in understanding you and your deepest of thoughts.
My main approach is Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, commonly known as CBT, where we explore how you think, feel and behave when experiencing emotional difficulty relating to every day life such as depression, anger and anxiety.
I have a keen interest in how the mind works and it's emotional connection to things we do every day in life, our purposes and meaning.
Together, we can work towards achieving your personal goals (whatever they may be) and help you learn to evaluate things in a more realistic and adaptive way, so you can experience improvement in certain areas of your life. Learning new skills through CBT can also help you to continue to improve in other aspects of your life after therapy has ended and in some cases lasting change.
