About me

Hi there. If you’re here having a look, it’s likely you are facing some challenges right now and are trying to find a step forward to alter something in your life. Maybe you’re trying to help ease overwhelming emotions or thoughts, or are dealing with stressed at work, in the home, or in relationships. I understand that seeking help can be a particularly challenging thing to do, so congrats on already making a big step by seeing what kind of support is out there! My name is Amber, and I’m a Clinical Psychologist with many years of experience in an array of techniques to cope with anxiety, stress, low mood, mental health struggles, interpersonal relationship strife, physical health conditions and life situations that are difficult and overwhelming. This includes those suffering from physical health conditions following a diagnosis or those where no medical explanation can be found. I work with chronic fatigue syndrome/ME, chronic pain, health anxiety and neurological complaints as well.  My style is one that reflects the individuality of the person in front of me, where your specific complaints and treatment goals are prioritised. Because of my diverse training background, I tend to take an eclectic approach to treatment choice and can offer you a specific treatment that you request or use a combination of empirically-validated strategies to make a personal and bespoke treatment plan for you. The aim of my work is to get you living again, feeling empowered and in a positive mindset to seek quality of life regardless of whatever struggles you have overcome. I’m hoping this has an appeal to you, and if so, please make contact.
