About Me

I am an integrative counsellor and coach.  I offer open-ended or short-term therapy online. I also offer focussed, single-session coaching, with follow-up sessions as required. The approaches I draw on include humanistic, solution-focused and psychodynamic.

I meet you where you are on your journey, from beginning to speak your truth, to rebalancing your conflicts, through to making and sustaining important changes. My specialities include but are not limited to: culture shock, chronic pain, cultivating your creativity, LGBT issues, including non-traditional relationships.

In looking for a counsellor or a coach, you have already done important work in noticing your need, starting the search and the next step is reaching out. When you get in touch I will offer you an introductory call, which you can use to ask questions and we can decide together how to work at the pace that suits you.

I offer:

  •  open-ended therapy
  • single session "reset" coaching
  • short-term coaching (4-6 sessions) with optional follow-up sessions after 1, 3 and 6 months

All sessions last 50 minutes.

Most common issues I support people with:

1. Anxiety: this can manifest in a range of ways, including catastrophising thoughts, aggressive behaviours, rumination and compulsions. Each of these can have different origins, which I help to explore.

2. Culture shock: the excitement-fear-disillusionment-acceptance cycle of moving to a new place is one I know first-hand, and I am experienced in helping people take the first steps of making these transitions.

3. Chronic pain conditions: many people with chronic pain find the psychological side of their experience is not adequately supported, despite there being a great deal of research about the links between mental and physical well-being. I help people to pay attention to their unique experience and help with making the changes they want to see in their lives.

4. LGBT issues: I am a fully affirmative practitioner and provide a safe space to explore hard-to-voice feelings and experiences as a result of being 'non-normative'.
