Hello there,Im Adrian an integrative counsellor with over 15 years of diverse clinical experience in a range of diverse settings-ranging from providing briefer term therapy in NHS settings and supporting clients in mental health community services. I have also worked for sexual violence services supporting a range of clients in longer term therapy and was pivotal in setting up a specialist service for male survivors.

I have worked with students in University Counselling services. I also have extensive experience of working in sexual health and HIV services with a diverse mix of clients.

My approach is very informal and I consider myself warm, relatable and easy to talk to, and this has been echoed over many years by my clients.I appreciate life can be tough and the relationship we have with ourselves can impact on what we think and feel about ourselves and our place within the world.As a qualified mindfulness teacher I gently weave in aspects of mindfulness to help clients develop greater awareness of their emotions and help regulate them through body and breath work,this has been helpful for clients managing anxiety and depression.

I welcome all clients from a diverse range of backgrounds and work from a non judgmental non -pathologising perspective.I have a keen interest in Mens mental health and work hard to challenge the stigma that still exists today. I have been involved in working with communities to break down barriers and challenge myths and assumptions about  men accessing counselling and support.I also have an ongoing personal and professional interest in working with clients from minority LGBTQ+ Backgrounds and have many years of lived experience alongside specialist training and clinical practice of working with gender sex, and relationship diversity.
