About me

My areas of interest and expertise are in guiding people towards becoming happy in love and work and creating meaningful and fulfilling lives. I have been in practice for over twenty years as a coach and psychotherapist,  facilitating adults to achieve their goals, the life of their dreams, to be successful, to feel connected, fulfilled, acknowledged and loved. I extend an invitation to look at how we live our lives, how we relate to ourselves and others, how we parent, do business and interact with our environment.

I have worked with diverse industries and cultures around the world.  My background is in self-development, counselling and psychotherapy, and in the corporate environment, in building and running a business both locally and abroad. I am a qualified professional Corporate & Executive coach and a Personal Performance coach, certified by the Coaching Academy London. I am a practicing psychotherapist working with adult individuals, couples and groups. I continue to be a keen student of eastern philosophy, Shamanism, Theosophy, Theology, Anthroposophy, Advaita, Buddhism, Zen, and I enjoy continuous professional development.

My speciality is in unlocking blocks, resistance and procrastination, managing change and facilitating the client to manifest their goals in creating healthy relationships, progressing their career, accruing life acumen, developing analytic and innovative thinking capacities, creating wealth, building their business, addressing self-care and wellbeing, retirement planning, image and presentation, project and time management,  financial management, ability to inspire trust and commitment to action.  I have coached individuals and teams, single people, couples, mothers and fathers, in life, in retirement, in the corporate sector, in software, advertising, recruitment, academia, artists, authors, NHS, banking to mention just a few.

How I work: -

"If you always do what you've always done, you'll always get what you've always got." Henry Ford

"No problem can be solved from the same consciousness that created it." Albert Einstein

I offer coaching to individuals, couples, families, groups, teams, businesses and corporations.  Each session is client lead and is tailored to suit your specific needs, be it locally or internationally.  Clarifying what you really want and asking the right questions, helps identify what to focus on.  Is it that your life is great, and you want it to be even better?  Are you frustrated that you want to change, but cannot see how to or where to start?  Is life passing you by and you feel there really is more out there for you? Are you struggling with a specific issue such as career progression, relationships, interpersonal skills, loneliness, wealth creation, growing a business, managing change, work/life balance, wellbeing, retirement, planning or manifesting your goals?

What coaching can offer: -

Coaching focuses on you by facilitating clarity, inspiration, purpose, direction and balance.  Coaching unlocks a person's potential to maximise their performance, whilst overcoming the resistance and problems inherent in change, which have the potential to cause conflict and procrastination. The various types of coaching I offer are: -

Personal coaching focuses on managing life issues such as: -

·       Relationship Coaching focuses on improving communication, interpersonal skills and intimacy or Finding a Partner.

·       Loneliness Coaching focuses on creating fulfilling connections and relationships.

·       Wealth Creation Coaching focuses on creating financial abundance.

·       Life Change Coaching focusses on managing change in life such as Starting a Family, Divorce, Separation, Menopause.

·       Career Coaching focuses on career direction, promotion and career change.

Corporate & Executive Coaching focuses on restructuring or mergers, high-cost base, performance at work, high staff turnover or absenteeism, low retention of customers, need for greater internal collaboration and team working, need to stimulate greater customer service, falling market share, increased cost of administration, time management, high employee turnover and work/life balance.  Corporate & Executive Coaching will facilitate the design of a strategy to make the desired change happen in the form intended by top management, whilst focusing on working with communication and relational issues in organisations brought on by conflict and change.  Change is implemented by people - it is their behaviour and support that counts, and this is where coaching is invaluable.

·       Executive coaching focuses on career progression, developing leadership and organisational skills; managing and improving relationships; performance management; improving specific skills - presentation, social, communication, selling, project and time management; business acumen, financial management, analytic and innovative thinking capacities, ability to inspire trust and commitment to action, rewards and acknowledgement and evoking ‘presence’. Coaching does not teach people how to become leaders, it offers individually tailored tools that can empower them to be more effective in their roles so that they can achieve their best performance, deliver added value, inspire and empower others to do likewise and ultimately impact on the bottom line.

·       Strategic Alignment Coaching focuses on aligning goals with your strategy in restructuring, redundancy or cultural change.

·       Communication, Conflict and Change Coaching focuses on communication, overcoming resistances, problems and conflict.

Fees

Individuals: £100 per 50 min session

Couples and families: £125 per 50 min session

Groups and corporate fees are dependent on tailor-made requirements.

Individual, couple or group coaching can be delivered face to face, on video call or on the phone; or in a format tailor-made to suit your needs. Usually sessions are 50 minutes, weekly, fortnightly or monthly. Sometimes a client needs a whole day’s coaching for a major life-changing restructuring. Sometimes sessions are longer or shorter, more or less frequent. Each client’s needs vary - I tailor make each coaching package to suit your needs. Usually an initial consultation takes place, following which six, nine, or twelve sessions are booked to suit your needs and sometimes sessions are open-ended.

Terms: -
To ensure that coaching has the best chance of being helpful to you, it is essential that the framework within which the work takes place is set out before we start and is adhered to. For this reason, regularity ie: session length, time and frequency is agreed in advance between us. If you should arrive late, the session will still finish at the end of the arranged time.

Cancelations: - If you are unable to attend a session please let me know the week before. If it is possible to re-schedule the session for a time that is convenient for both of us, I will endeavour to do so. If not, the fee for the missed session is payable in full.

Holidays - I will give notice of my intended holidays in advance. Should you take a holiday outside of these times and it is possible to re-schedule the session/s for a time that is convenient for both of us, I am happy to do so. If not, the fee for the missed session/s is payable in full.

Payment is due on the day of the session via online banking.

Ethical Framework - I abide by an ethical and non-judgemental ethic.

Confidentiality - The sessions are completely confidential except under three circumstances: 1. If I believe you are at risk of harming yourself or others, I reserve the right to break confidentiality in order to prevent harm. However, I would only do this in extreme circumstances and would always discuss it first with you before taking any action. 2. If required by a court of law to give evidence (e.g., in criminal proceedings). 3. When required to share information with line mangers/stakeholders during corporate coaching.

Ending coaching - Where our work extends beyond six weeks, I recommend that we have at least one week's notice of ending to allow us a proper conclusion. If at any point you decide you want to end coaching, please talk to me about this in the sessions, rather than by telephone or email.
