We are always looking for people to contribute to our site. While many of our contributors are the counsellors and therapists listed on our directory, we have almost as many who are not professionals. Some are bloggers, some authors, but others are simply people who have a story to tell or something they want to let others know about. Here are some examples of how you might want to join in:
Our posts are usually no longer than 600 words. Write clearly, avoiding jargon, and in a way that suits a website (using the key words that are subject of your post). Give us links to any sites that you think will benefit the post. Also provide a phone number so that we can check any inconsistencies in short notice if necessary.
Our posts always include a contributor biography. For this we need a headshot and no more than 60 words, describing you and your background (e.g. what you do, if you have a website, Twitter account, etc). If you are writing on behalf of an organisation, the biography would be for it, not you. So please send the logo and no more than 100 words about the organisation.
