About Me

My training in existential psychotherapy means that while I work with a variety of issues, I am especially interested in supporting you to consider your choices, your responsibility for your own life, how you want to live in the wider context of the people around you, and how you might support yourself to live creatively and fully.

I work in-person in Brixton on Tuesdays and in Peckham on Thursdays, both in south London.
I currently have very limited online space.

Before training as a therapist, I worked for many years as a writer and theatremaker. I have a passionate belief in the creativity of every person and the value of supporting people to explore their own creative approaches to life's dilemmas.
As a qualified yoga teacher, I am interested in embodied approaches to therapeutic work, which I personally found useful in my recoveries from cancers and in living with the experience of early medical menopause.

I am in the final year of a doctorate training in Existential Psychotherapy. My doctoral research is in the embodied experience of postmenopause – while there has been a recent surge of interest in menopause, there is a real lack of attention paid to the rest of our lives and how we might best live them.

Alongside my private practice, I have previously worked in hospice bereavement support, NHS cancer support working with both patients and carers and a low-cost community mental health service with individuals where I also ran a therapy group on ageing.

I am a registered member of BACP (MBACP 393483) and, while I complete my doctorate, a trainee member of UKCP and UPCA.
I work in accordance with UKCP policies and Code of Ethics and Professional Practice.
