Dr Simone Passos
Cognitive behaviour clinical psychologistAbout Me
I have a degree in Psychology since 2010 and I work as a Clinical Psychologist since 2016. I have a postgraduate degree in clinical sexology and couple therapy.
In the course of these years I have acquired a vast experience that each day has been increasing my professional knowledge. I like to work directly with people. My intervention aims to promote well-being and quality of life for audiences of all age groups.
I emphasise that my empathy is open to different situations, in this period I have worked with patients from simple situations to the most diverse conditions, demands and emotional difficulties.
I currently do my job in promoting gains and skills in terms of psychological intervention.
I am a professional that I work with participatory competence and good logical reasoning skills.
I organise my work in a cooperative and solidarity way, always willing to assume the proposed commitments.
I have knowledge of professional techniques and good interpersonal skills, work with the cognitive behavioural model of individuals so that they learn to define their goals and to deal better with possible obstacles that may hinder their career and / or personal life growth.
I worked voluntarily in a Psychiatric Hospital where I acquired extensive experience in hospital work where I gained confidence, self-knowledge that strengthens my leadership and emotional intelligence.
The services provided are based on integrative techniques for better results, and I carry out different types of strategies that include cognitive behaviours with regard to psychological distress, internal conflicts and even serious personality and mood disorders aimed at promoting psychological well-being.
I worked at school in terms of professional pedagogical guidance, among others, as a nursing home and community center.
