The aim of therapy would be twofold : building a trusting reliable relationship where it feels possible to share thoughts, feelings and your experiences of situations both past and present and to have these heard and understood with kindness and compassion can be an invaluable process . We can also work and think together to help you gain greater insight and understanding, so that you may develop more awareness for the future which in turn can create new and more fulfilling future possibilities. The focus and the pace of the work will be guided by you and your needs. We can meet for short term focused counselling, or longer term, more in-depth, psychotherapy once or twice a week; what feels right for you is something that we can talk and think about together in the initial assessment .
I work with individuals dealing with a wide range of issues, such as stress, loneliness, depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, family issues, bereavement, low self-esteem, motivation and confidence.
My home-based private practice is about 10 minutes walk from either Richmond or Kew Gardens station .
I can also offer online sessions via Zoom.
