Sarah McMichaelPsychodynamic counsellor
I am an experienced counsellor and psychotherapist offering private psychodynamic counselling and psychotherapy for young people and adults. Short term work is referred to as counselling and usually involves working towards a goal. Long-term work is referred to as psychotherapy and involves exploring issues in greater depth. Some people find that short-term work can help (6-12sessions) while others benefit from long-term work; what feels right for you is something that we can talk and think about together in the initial assessment .
I specialise in a range of concerns and difficulties including relationships, anger management, anxiety, bereavement, depression, stress and work-related issues.
I can offer a 1 hour no-obligation initial consultation which gives you the opportunity to explore these issues. This can be in person in my consulting room in Richmond, or via Zoom.
