I am Raymond and I work using Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Psychodynamic Counselling. I will provide with a safe, warm and non-judgemental service to help you explore issues that you find disturbing at the moment. 

After an assessment of your needs, we will explore which style of therapy you would like to use.  If you choose Psychodynamic Counselling, I will support you to understand how your past relates to the present; and how conscious and unconscious processes affect our behaviour. 

Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, on the other hand is a structured form of therapy that helps dealing with problems by learning how our thoughts, emotions, physical sensations and actions are connected and I will support you in identifying any negative thoughts and feelings that trap you in a vicious cycle.

I have spent most of my working life working with people suffering from varying degrees of mental health issues including depression and anxiety; also people with alcohol, substance misuse and other addictions, so I can draw upon a vast and varied experience to support you through your journey. 

I am a Registered Member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) and abide by their ethics and codes of conduct.
