Psychodynamic psychotherapistAbout Me
Whatever it is that is being faced right now, no matter how hard things are, therapy is somewhere to come to talk, a confidential space to start to find the right words to help make sense of confusion. To talk about what has happened and how it has and is currently affecting you. We all deserve to have a life that we feel secure in and a future that we can look forward to. But in reality, there are times when this simply isn't the case.
Deciding to start therapy can be life changing. We look for therapy for so many different reasons. It might be for help with overwhelming feelings of anxiety and depression. Or one of those more persistent nagging feelings that just won't go away, and so now is the time to talk to someone. Or perhaps something sudden and unexpected has happened, something that you decide you would like to make sense of.
At the heart of our work together is respect and care. Time spent means having a place to be heard but also some space to begin to understand ourselves and the world around us. A space to facilitate growth of all kinds - from gaining insight into patterns of behaviour and the way that we think all the way through to how we relate to others and ourselves. It gives us a chance to find the right words so we aren't so alone with confusing emotional experiences.
