About me

I am a Person-centered counsellor, with 30 years experienceof working with vulnerable children, young people and adults. In that time I have had experience of working with a variety of issues stemming from parenting, behavioural issues to substance misuse and domestic abuse. I have recently work with a local domestic abuse project, gaining experience of counselling men and women who have suffered domestic abuse. I have worked with children and young people who suffer with anxiety, low self-esteem and behavioural issues and have used counselling skills to help them alter behaviours that are affecting them. I am trained in Person-Centred Counselling, which means that my role is to empower you to find the solution. I will use my learned skills to help you through the journey. I have also completed training in cognitive behavioural therapy, which gives me extra tools to support you through your journey.
